There's a lot of creative toolkits that let you create graphics with code, tools like processing, openframeworks and cinder. This tools does a great job doing the hard part of programming and exposing the fun part to the coder to easily create sketches for your needs.
If you want to perform with your sketches you will find yourself adding technologies that facilitates the interaction and reaction, but you need to start from scratch every time, or probably you'll end up rendering your sketches to video and adding them to a VJ'ing software. That sucks.
This tool is a hybrid between flow based programming and coding, the goal is to create a foundation (an addon) that let coders create their own modules that wraps sketches and common technologies to perform in real time with ease.
The project is in a very initial steps but it can be really useful for openframeworks coders and it has a lot of modules already implemented, and guess what, it performs really fast with low cpu usage and great FPS rate. I already perform with it in the VJ Mapping tournament in Mexico last year.
I would like to show this project in order to discuss what do you think about it and what could be the best path for continuing it's development before I release any code.
I will provide a free binary version (only MacOS users for now) to all the attendees to test it.
