I began making sculptures, then became interested in photography. I studied sociology and a little physics. During that time I became aware of computers and the artistic possibilities in programming. Shapes, patterns and algorithmic structures became my field of interest. The notion that computer programs are machine executable thoughts, that computers are a medium for universal informationprocessing, is very important. The most interesting forms of information are video and audio. Methods for audiovisualization are also a field of interest for me. The political implications of using computers as a medium for art are important. The more commercialized and socially integrated computers are becoming, the more important it gets to explore them.
