Telesonic 9000 is a live film concert that mixes drumming, electronic music, and video projection producing a full sensory experience in a concert/cinema setting. The footage is re-assembled from over 300 archival films, and blended with an eclectic selection of original music and lively rhythms. The show acts a unique 21st century update to the silent cinema format, exploring the ideas of futurism and the human experience. Telesonic 9000 has been performed in concert halls, galleries, cultural centers, clubs, and festivals in Europe/Asia/USA.

Ideally, kick, snare and overhead mics for the drums works great, but this is flexible depending on the venue is space and technical requirements.

Typically I will bring cymbals and computer. Depending on what the venue provides, other arrangements can be made.

Dominick Gray is an American-born, Berlin-based drummer and composer. In developing Telesonic 9000, he researched and re-assembled footage from over 300 archival films and blended that with an eclectic selection of original music and lively rhythms. The show acts a unique 21st century update to the silent cinema format.
