From the laughing, crying block of wood to the escape from the school bench, the first act follows Pinocchio's birth and his first steps into the world—naive, chaotic, and irresistible. Mathieu Vignon's illustrations come to life across the four walls of the cloister, bringing to life Geppetto carving the puppet, Pinocchio's first mischievous kicks, the Talking Cricket's warnings, and the flames that burn his wooden feet.

This ever-evolving visual universe is accompanied by the timeless melodies of Fiorenzo Carpi, reimagined through contemporary jazz arrangements by Carlo Gizzi and performed live by the Antonio Del Sordo Quartet, featuring Francesco Consaga on saxophones and flutes, Emmanuel Losio on guitar, Ermanno Dodaro on double bass, and Antonio Del Sordo on drums.

Images and music merge into a single narrative, evoking childhood not as a nostalgic memory, but as a living, vibrant state of mind that continues to resonate within us.
